Adam Mercer has dedicated his entire career to serving as a law enforcement professional. He has 24 years in the field.
As a deputy, detective, member of the interagency CMET drug team, marine patrol, school resource officer, and a sergeant, Adam has the background, skills, knowledge, and experience to serve Newaygo as its next sheriff. Adam's two brothers, father and great-grandfather all chose law enforcement as their profession. Between the five of them, they have over 100 years of service. Adam is a graduate of Kirtland Community College Police Academy. Adam and his wife Alexis are residents of Croton Township where they are raising their family. |
