As Sheriff, I will prioritize the training, communication, and support of all our employees, especially those in command positions, to ensure they have the tools and resources they need to excel in their roles. Collaborative Partnerships

Effective law enforcement requires collaboration and cooperation across agencies. I will work tirelessly to rebuild strong relationships with city police departments and the Michigan State Police to maximize coverage, promote mutual aid, and reduce response times to citizens' calls for service. By pooling our resources and expertise, we can enhance public safety and better serve the needs of our community.
